New every time!

Swallow falls is natures beauty summer or winter. The flowing water over the rocks into the falls in the summer and the ice covered rocks that glisten in the winter are visions that I will never forget.

Hikers Delight, Photographers Dream

A beautiful, well-maintained park that can be enjoyed by all age groups. The many waterfalls are a delight to photograph, and hiking through the giant Hemlock grove is like taking a step back in time. This park is very wheelchair friendly, with an access road and ramp straight down to the most picturesque place in the park (Muddy Creek Falls). Always a favorite destination of mine, and I highly reccommend it to all.

Beautiful easy hike

we visited the falls one morning. the weather was nice but not warm enough to go in the water. the water was also really low, making the falls not as full...but they were still really beautiful. highly recommend it. the park takes very well care of the paths and stairs and even has handicap ramps all the way to muddyfalls.

Spectacular

we visited this park from Washington, D.C. over the weekend of the autumn glory festival. after a short walk, we saw both falls, which interestingly face each other. we climbed to the top of the larger falls, and could get extremely close to the edge. amazing pictures were taken. i am now looking for permanent apartment rentals in the garrett county area.

Great Place for a HOT day

Just minutes from Deep Creek Lake, I like its trails, streams, and its small falls. The perfect way to spend the day with your family just sitting in the stream as the water pours down upon you.
